Rehab Center Marketing Sheet

In digital marketing you must add website pages to your site as often as humanly possible in order to increase the value of your asset.  As you can see in the image below, CNN has over 5 million pages indexed with Google.  It is important to note that quality is just as important as quantity.  Your website users want to read quality information.  The more information you publish the greater the chance your website content will be found when people are searching.

If you post quality content you also increase the probability that other websites will link to it.  Links are an important factor Google uses to consider you in their search results.  The higher the quality of the links, the more ’value’ Google attributes to it.  Quality links coming from other ‘high authority’ sites are better and the best sites to get links from are media sites such as NYTimes.com, .edu and .gov websites.

Using a Rehab Center Marketing Sheet or (RCMS) is like using a ‘cheat sheet’ to remind you of the important steps to gain more leads and get more admissions. There are a few things to take into consideration when building out the fundamentals in your marketing program. We like to keep things simple, over complicating can lead to analysis paralysis.

In this example of a Rehab Center Marketing Sheet we are only discussing marketing, not sales. The difference is that marketing is done primarily through digital means. Yes, it can include PR or public Relations, Trade Shows, Banner Ads and etc. however, our main concern is your website and Google My Business (GMB) page.

Marketing Item Where You Can Find It Why it is Important
Pages on Your Website Go to the URL and type in ‘site:’ plus your website and you will see how many pages you have. Here is an example: site:samhsa.gov The more pages of well written content you have means that your content will be crawled by Google and found. Once it is found, hopefully Google will add it to their index
Inbound Links to Your Website https://ahrefs.com/backlink-checker The more links you have the better. The higher the quality of links you have the better. Having a steady flow of links coming in tells Google that your website is trusted. When Google trusts your links they increase your rankings. You can have all the great content in the world however, if no one trusts it and links to it, it will not be found.
References/Reviews on Your Google My Business Page http://g.page/addictionrep/review Again the more reviews you have the better. Google looks at this as “trustworthy.” The more your website or business is reviewed (and reviewed in a positive light) the more it will boost your Google My Business Ranking
Your Website Page Speed http://bit.ly/3qVQ6zQ Google cares very much about the speed of your website. Why? Because if your website does not load quickly the users will hit the back button…..especially on mobile. If your mobile page speed is 50 or under you have a problem.
Alexa Ranking http://bit.ly/38IrHHF Your Alexa Ranking is like scoring in golf. The lower the number the better you will do. Alexa is keeping track of your website traffic and volume. If you have a number around 5 million or higher this tells us you are not getting any calls from your website because no one is going there. If you have no number it tells us that your website has very little history on the internet or you have done nothing to market it.
Domain Creation Date http://bit.ly/3cHJyQe The older the domain is, the chances are that it has more ‘trust’ with Google. If it is a year or two old it is considered “new”. This is one item you do not have a lot of control over.
Keywords Indexed By a 3rd Party Tool http://bit.ly/3tvMsyz The more keywords you have showing up in organic search or SEO the better. This means that Google will find your content and it is most likely indexed with Google as well as Spyfu. This tool will also tell you how much money your competition is spending on PPC or Google Adwords.
Google Analytics http://bit.ly/3vvZz4m If you look at your Google Analytics account you will see that you have access to a lot of the information Google is measuring. Be mindful that, if they are measuring it, it is most likely going into their algorithm for example: Time on site, number of pages viewed, goals completed etc. The better these numbers look, the more trust you have with users ergo, the more trust with Google. Google will remunerate you by increasing your search results.

 
While this is the most basic of basic rehab center marketing sheets, if you just do the top two items (content and links) you will be ahead of the game. By looking at some of these links you can compare yourself to your competition.

If we sound like a broken record it is because this works however, you must do a lot of it and do it on a daily/weekly basis, there are no shortcuts other than doing the work.

Using a tracking system like Call Tracking Metrics you will be able to determine which of your ad sources and your website pages are generating the most admissions.
